A bit more bio

I am a proud dad of two little kids, who constantly surprise me with how much energy they have.

From 2000-2003, I was a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer serving in Mpumalanga, South Africa. There, I lived in a small community, called Tjakastad, mainly working with teachers and HIV/AIDS prevention groups. Here are some of my favorite photos (and yes, that's me in the emajobo on the left).

I have a funny fantasy that one day, after retirement, I will be a Central Park (NY) portrait artist. Here are a few of my favroties.

I can cross off "performing in front of a live audience" from my bucket list, after a one-time gig at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe in Manhattan's Lower East Side (in 2007).
